After the upgrade, the Wohlhüters offer now a new delivery and storage area in an up-to-date connection with the sale area. The various company departments: nursery, gardening, and the flower market have been ideally integrated to form a center of competence for “the green”. Soft colors and smooth fabrics, a lot of light and air characterize the new Palmencafé. The building, mainly in glued laminated timber, personifies the environment. The skylight at the center of the café is architectonically inspired by the existing construction. Many works have been carried out in solid wood with particular attention to the ecological aspect. A large glass façade offers a panoramic view onto the countryside.
