The garden center Baumer has enlarged its surface to 6,500 square meters. Sales were not interrupted during the building works that lasted the length of one year. It is starting from March 2019 that the customers enter the greenhouse center through the barn, an entrance portico about ten meters tall. The covered open space and the greenhouse have been overall refurbished. A modern cooled greenhouse has been built, its size: 3,000 square meters. It is divided into two parts in its longitudinal direction: vane venting vs. convertible venting. The area can be reduced in the lower season thanks to the subdivisions. The parking lots have increased to over 100. A special attraction is the new playing area for children with offers for the young visitors.
