Construction of the worldwide biggest solar drying facility for waste water sludge for the island of Mallorca. Built for 600,000 inhabitants, the installation dries over 30,000 tons of waste water sludge per year on an area of 20,000 m². 24 electrical “pigs” stir up the sludge and ensure an ideal drying process. The facility consists of a central main nave and 12 lateral aisles. There are 2 halls for supplies. Roof and upright walls are covered with insulation glass (16 mm) and partially with 4 mm ESG safety glass.
